What do you like about Chikara??? What seperates Chikara from other feds? I normally watch the pod casts but, it doesnt encourage me enough to really follow it. Also, the lack of belts hurts the overall story to the organization. Thoughts?

Its in Philly. Its a different type of organization. hard to explain. Go to their website or search on youtube. Its basically a mexican style mixed with comedy. Lots of masked wrestlers, and just a fun, silly organization. A handful of ROH guys wrestle in Chikara, and ROH is about to rape the chikara roster for new talent i think.

lately the indy scene has been relying on cards with all huge names like former ECW and WWE guys to draw attention and fans to them. Even a promotion like JAPW, which is huge, has TNA guys on the card every show. But Chikara has all fresh talent, with guys who probably wouldn't get a chance in other indies. Even though the characters are pretty odd, the wrestling is still good, which draws in the Internet fanboys. Having such a unique roster is what I think sets them apart from everyone else. But I still can't get into Chikara that much, there's some things I can't take seriously there, and it might be too comical sometimes.

I like that its different. Yes, there's usually comedy involved in their matches, but it never takes away from any storyline that might be going in the match. I also like that it gives people to chance to see some pretty damn good talent that's usually overshadowed by the talent in the bigger indy feds.

By the way, CHIKARA does have titles... Just not a singles title (The Young Lions Cup is the closest thing to a singles belt).

Also, Ultramantis Black >_>
