Took it upon myself to do this thread since the event itself is not far off and most of the card is already shelled out. Hope I'm not overstepping any boundaries here.

Yep, it's time for Chikara's second largest tournament of the year once again!
LOTS of unknowns involved in the tournament this ear but from what I can tell and have heard, both Chase Owens and Sean South are great competitors. Owens is facing Davey Richards some time soon for the ROH World Title (on an NWA Smoky Mountain show, he obviously won't win but...) and Sean South is the protege of Prince Devitt of NJPW fame. So if he takes anything after his teacher he should be great.
Also most Chikara fans are already acquaint with Koblad, Jakob, and Irons and most general wrestling fans know what Nick Jackson can do, so I'd say we're in for a damn good tournament. Weaker than the past years to be honest, but still a strong tourney. I'm going with Irons for the win.
And in addition to that I can say I'm interesting in The Countdown Showdown (it's a Royal Rumble) and of course Vin Gerard is back in single's action so that's always good.

I've recently got into CHIKARA so this year will be the first time I would've followed the YLC. Death Rey vs Hallowicked will no doubt be good. Death Rey has been awesome from the shows i've seen lately from CHIKARA. I'd be surprised since Nick Jackson's already been announced, that Matt doesn't get included. It's also nice to see Gregory Iron getting involved too.

Don't know what to think about him other than he looks as odd as anyone else in this tournament and is likely just one of those token entries who stand no chance at winning the whole thing. Meh.
I Have actually never really been into CHIKARA until this tournament. They have always had some decent guys like Quack and The Colony. Gran Akuma and Icarus along with Chuck Taylor are excellent heels also. But just now am getting into this company, great overall talent so far.
