The I Wireless Center in Moline, IL sent out an email blast today in support of the 8/19 TV taping at their building. They announced that both ECW and Smackdown will be taping on that Tuesday night. The email is up to date because they have the current, post-draft rosters listed for both brands.

Also, on the events page on WWE, the shows through September list Raw taping by itself on Monday with ECW and Smackdown staying together on Tuesday. While WWE had tentatively decided to move ECW to Monday nights in the now-defunct Heat position a couple of months ago, they have yet to pull the trigger on the move. Perhaps they are waiting until they move to MyNetworkTV in the fall. There are no Smackdown tapings listed past September 15 so we should know more when WWE firms up their next set of dates. I guess that would leave open the possibility of them doing a live broadcast on MyNetworkTV but that is just me thinking out loud.

Thanks to Gregory Davis for his help with this story.

huh, every report before this has said that it was happening sooner, oh well we will just have to wait and see.

SD! needs to go live. It would do alot for the brand, and ratings.

I don't think them going live is going to make a huge difference when they are on the shittest channel in America.

Maybe this means that ECW will not change nights. I'd rather them stay with SD, it would give more of a chance to people like Shelton, Carlito, MVP and the other midcarders of ECW and SD.
