CHAMPIONS VS. ALL STARS IS BACK! Now confirmed for our upcoming event in Kalamazoo, all the current ROH champions will be in action against a team composed of top contenders. Last year's Champions vs. All Stars match was hailed as one of the best matches of the year. We don't have a list of participants confirmed yet but ROHwrestling.com will have all the updates!
There are a huge number of factors at play when figuring out who will represent each team. Surprisingly, it's the CHAMPIONS team that might have the most potential lineups! Between now and October 11th, the champions need to make it through ALL STAR EXTRAVAGANZA with their titles in hand. And given the caliber of contenders there, it's hardly a guarantee!
World TV Champion Jay Lethal must defend his title against ACH - with no time limit - and so that spot in Champions vs. All Stars is up for grabs. Additionally, World Champion "Unbreakable" Michael Elgin takes on Jay Briscoe in Toronto. Last year, Elgin won the big eight man as the sole survivor. But this time, if he makes it to Kalamazoo he'll be in the match on the Champions side.
And finally, we need to wait till ALL STAR EXTRAVAGANZA to find out who will be representing the ROH World Tag Team Titles. On September 6th, current champions reDRagon defend against The Young Bucks. If the Bucks can snag the titles and get into the Champions vs. All Stars, that will definitely amp up the speed and high risk for everyone else! But Kyle O'Reilly and Bobby Fish are veterans of this match, representing as champions last year.
