The opening line for the Chael Sonnen vs. Brian Stann fight at UFC 136 opened today and for the first time in ages, Chael Sonnen is a betting favorite going into a fight. And there's already been movement in the line too. Early this afternoon the line dropped at the following:

Sonnen -215
Stann +170

In just a few short hours, the line has moved considerably:

Sonnen -260
Stann +200

Sonnen will be entering the cage on October 8th for the first time in 14 months after getting submitted by a fifth round triangle at the hands (or legs) of Anderson Silva at UFC 117. He was suspended shortly thereafter for a higher-than-allowed testosterone count, which kicked off the first TRT scandal in modern MMA. Nate Marquardt brought us the second just a few days ago.

Stann has won three in a row since dropping to middleweight and is currently ranked 8th in the USA Today/BE Consensus Rankings at middleweight. Sonnen is ranked at number 3.
