Chael Sonnen and Wanderlei Silva are taking their rivalry to primetime. The two light heavyweights have been selected to coach the upcoming season of The Ultimate Fighter Brazil.

UFC President Dana White announced the news to Sonnen firsthand during a brief interview on FOX Sports Live.
Wandy's latest video

"You two will coach The Ultimate Fighter. You will have a ton of security down there with you, and it should be a fun season," a smiling White told Sonnen.
Sonnen (29-13-1) and Silva (35-12-1, 1 NC) are set to begin filming before the end of the year, likely following Sonnen's battle against Rashad Evans at UFC 167.

Both Sonnen and Silva have coached The Ultimate Fighter once in the past. Sonnen squared off against Jon Jones on TUF 17, while Silva dueled Vitor Belfort on the inaugural season of TUF Brazil.

Following TUF Brazil 3's airing, the two rivals will collide inside the Octagon, finally putting an end to their lengthy war of words.

I'm happy for the fight happening, but I'm not digging this being in Brazil. Finally a TUF worth watching because of the personalities involved in an actual/non-scripted dispute like Ken/Tito and we have to see it in porteguese. I just can't get my ears to get a hold of the language.

That's my biggest problem, unless they retweak it and do Team USA vs Team Brazil to at least make it a bit more appealing.

Thought Helwani said it was Brazil vs. USA.

Not from the articles i've just gone back through on MMAFighting and just checked his Twitter and there was no mention of it, although he did reply to someone mentioning that Chael coaching Brazilians would be fun too so if you read between the lines then he possibly thinks USA/Brazil.

Wanderlei Silva and Chael Sonnen are the coaches for the next season of The Ultimate Fighter in Brazil, and "The Axe Murderer" had an idea to spice even more his rivalry with "The American Gangster".

Silva and Sonnen will coach ‘TUF: Brazil 3’ in 2014 right after Sonnen’s fight with Rashad Evans at UFC 167, and the former Pride champion wants this season to feature Brazilians against Americans.

"It’s official, I’ll be the responsible for representing our country and yes, I’ll make him pay for everything he said about us," Silva posted on his Facebook page. "I asked Dana to do a USA vs. Brazil season".

The tryouts for the next TUF season will take place in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil on Nov. 11, in three weight classes (middleweight, light heavyweight and heavyweight), but Silva wants to do it differently this time.

"He picks his fighters, the ones he believes are the best of the United States, and I’ll pick Brazil’s bests," he suggested. "There’s no reason why he should coach our (Brazilian) fighters, but I want to pick our fighters. Let’s ask the boss (Dana White), send him a message on Twitter asking for that."

The first two seasons of the Ultimate Fighter in Brazil featured Vitor Belfort, Wanderlei Silva, Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira and Fabricio Werdum as coaches, and Santiago Ponzinibbio was the only non-Brazilian among the 30 contestants.
I'll be more inclined to watch if they do it this way.
