- WWE’s website also spoke to John Cena after last night’s RAW main event. Cena says there was some speculation and rumors that he was cleared to wrestle too early and may have lost some of his edge. Cena said he proved that wrong last night in the match with CM Punk. Cena says he is ready to go and will take the WWE Title at Survivor Series. Cena speculated that he and Punk may take out Ryback together and then settle their differences in the match on Sunday. Cena added that someone needs to stop Ryback. Cena believes Ryback is focused on destroying them two while he and Punk are focused on the title.

It was better than most main events on RAW to be honest, they work really well together imo. Ironically when Punk works a match with Cena it puts him over more than any promo would; Cena has this way of making Punk look really strong.

Yeah the two have amazing chemistry. Normally it's easy to notice Punk speaking during a match but you rarely see it against Sheena, the two seem to know each other so well that they can figure out what to do next with no fuck ups. And yeah, Cena can make anybody look strong just by having a long match with them.

So, a good televised main event. I shall go and watch it (maybe).

You need to watch the Punk vs Lawler segment just to be able to say you have seen it. One of the darkest things I have seen in wrestling in a long time

It's darker than Kid Kash treatening to snap a dead guy's neck? :downer: Doubt.

Btw:

- Jerry Jarrett posted the following on his Facebook, discussing last night's angle where Jerry Lawler returned to Raw…

I watched WWE last night. Jerry Lawler was returning after surviving a life threatening heart attack. I sat watching the television with a feeling of pride that they were honoring the return of such a great wrestler. I sat thinking, "now this is real class". Just when I was appreciating the class WWE was showing, it ended suddendly with a juvenile cheap heat angle. I turned the television off and starting thinking about Linda McMahon's hard work and great expense running for the Senate. It is exactly this kind of programming that prevented her from becoming a Senator. Wrestling should have some limits and boundaries. If you offend great portions of the audience, it is a bad angle.
