Cena question. Rapping coming back?>

Ok, so, we heard rumors a few months ago about Cena and Punk teaming up in a rapper gimmick right? Well, now it looks possible. I mean, Cena and Cryme Tyme teamed up kast week, and thats a sign. If thats not enough, Cena was helping Punk of all people!
Now, the punk part, I dont know if it will happen or not, but I wouldnt have a problem with it.
And also, he recently did some songs with Snoop Dogg...
Cena looks like he could be going back to his rapper gimmick. That would be amazing.
But my question is... I know alot of you said if Cena went rapping and turned heel youd like him. But would you like him if he turned back to rapping but was still a face?

The rapping as a face would get old and that would be the only thing people would want to Cena do if he returned to it. Cena is more of a round character without the rapping, and you could do more without it. He could cut more passionate promos without the fans looking for him to drop a verse. To answer your question, I would be OK with Cena rapping again, but only if he wasn't in a feud with the title on the line or as a champ.

^Ya, but its not that bad. Im not saying go ing back to full out rapping. Hell, he could even have Cryme Tyme do alot of the rapping for him. But i mean, not as much as 2003-2004, but maybe like 2005, when he was still in the jerseys, and has the rapping attitude, but only used the atual raps when needed. Thatd be alot better IMO.

^it really would "freshen" Cena and it could get him more fans from the people that hate him, but I don't see a point for it now. I agree with you in having Cryme Time doing some rapping, because it would help them get over along with their alliance with Cena.

It would be refreshing to see him rap again plus having already over Cryme Tyme isn't bad either but it would probably get old after a few weeks.

I would love to see him rapping again...I said a few weeks back on this forum some where...I'm close to being a Cena fan again and him rapping would throw it over the hill for me and make me a big Cena mark again..and yeah him and Cryme Tyme seem to be pretty good friends now...anything can happen....but yeah it might could work as a face....he has rapped as a face before if I'm not mistaken..but yeah I'm all for that...

he was the best as a rapper. he made me laugh my ass off every week on smackdown back then. i would love to see the gimmick come back and him teaming with cryme tyme. it would dominate raw!! it was cool seeing cena and cryme tyme wrecking JBL's limo lol

Ya, I dont think he's gonna be a rapper. Firstly, he's older now, and it wouldnt seem like before. Secondly, he'a actually only REALLY got booed against HHH, which is expected. But since the end of 2007, he has been getting cheered like 85 percent of the crowd, so he's over enough.
I think we will see what we'ce seen this month, and even more enhanced in the comign months. Sorta like 2005. Where he wont rap, maybe just on occasion, but mostly just have the CTC, wordlife, and just stand up to the bad guys, and have an "attitude" like 2005. Im fien with that.

I miss Cena as a funny guy/rapper.... tonight he proved his funny side again in the first promo with JBL, Batista, Punk and Kane.... except though that Raw's gay rating is PG, he couldnt say shit, so instead he said poopy lmao... but I hope they bring the rapper side back, CTC/WORDLIFE 4 LIFE! Few thngs. Like, one, he still uses Wordlife, just not as much.
2, ya, I agree, he was funny/cool, in his opening promo, ESPECIALLY the one with JBL's limo.
But 3, Raw is tv 14 again. They even (at least here) have a more tv-14 warning for raw now, about mature themes, violence, intense aggresion,etc... lol. But ya, its tv 14 again.
