Cena out??

- Former WWE World Heavyweight Champion John Cena is expected to take some time off from the road starting next month to begin work on his next film, reports The Sun. This explains his loss to Edge at tonight’s Backlash pay-per-view.

i guess i was right about cena taking time off on my pervious thread.
do u guys really think cena should leave for awhile to shoot another movie??

I doubt he'll be gone full time. I read somewhere about him only working the weekly Raw and PPV's, and skipping house shwos, which explains why he dropped the belt (cause he's only doing a light schedule). I can't see Show doing what he did last night if Cena is going to take time off, and not have a feud between them. If Cena was taking time off, i would think they would've just had Edge brutalise him. The Big Show attack has gotta lead to something.

Yeah, I read on another article that he would just be working a lighter schedule and not be gone full time. He needs to do a movie that doesn't revolve around a similar plot.

I doubt WWE would let HHH, HBK and Cena all take breaks at the same time

No. I want Cena to stay on. He just came back at Survivor Series, I don't like this on and off Cena.

If cena goes out of it for a while Hbk will return. And if hhh goes out same time then raw has a stacked roster. Plus kennedy is due back soon also.

I hope Cena isn't out too too long. He's recently done some character development that has made him the most interesting that he's been since 2005ish. I'm salivating at the thought of an extended Big Show/Cena feud.

yeah i just heard some rumors that cena was going to against big show this judgement day so i guess he is just going to get a lighter schedule and staying away from the title spotlight for a little while

This will be a major hit to the WWE really he is the biggest draw. I really dont care much for him and if he is out for awhile I honestly wouldnt be heartbroken. The title scene needs a fresh face (MVP maybe?)

This certainly isn't the time for Cena to take time off. RAW needs him now that the brand split is in full effect. I hope he doesn't take too long, thats all I can say

I'm honestly pretty scared....I've actually grown to like Cena over the past month or so. Since he's returned it's really obvious the guy has come a long way. He's working great matches, he's got the fans back in his palm and is just generally on a fuckin role.
I don't think it would hurt him to take a month off...perhaps selling an injury he suffers at the hands of Show at Judgement Day. Cena really is one of those guys that it works best to have him off TV sparatically. It seems every time he returns from a slight break he gets that much bigger...and honestly better.
