Anger Management will be getting a visit from one of The Voice’s coaches in the upcoming second season. On a break from his Voice duties while developing his very own sitcom for NBC, Cee Lo Green will also be making a guest appearance on Charlie Sheen’s successful new series.
Much like he did on Parenthood not long ago, Cee Lo will be playing a version of himself on the comedy, TV Line says. This time he’s playing “the nicest guy in show businessâ€, a man who finds that the stress is getting to be too much for him and he’s feeling like he might lose it. That sends to him to see Charlie for help with his potential anger issues.
Green has been a busy guy outside of The Voice. Although on hiatus from the fourth season of the singing competition, but is expected to return in the future as his contract allows for a season off to work on other projects. Of course, if the untitled family comedy based on his own life moves forward, he may yet decide to leave The Voice for good. Cee Lo isn’t the only one who is absent from the fourth season – Christina Aguilera is off as well to promote her new album.
Anger Management debuted this summer on FX and after good ratings earned a back order of a whopping 90 episodes, set to be produced over two years and then go into syndication in 2014. The second season is coming in 2013, but no word yet on a premiere date or when we’ll see Cee Lo drop by.
