Scoop: Cape Alum David Lyons Joins NBC’s J.J. Abrams/Eric Kripke-Produced Drama Pilot
Former Cape crusader David Lyons is returning to NBC with a co-starring role in one of the Peacock’s hottest pilots — the Untitled J.J. Abrams/Eric Kripke Project (formerly Revolution), TVLine has learned.
He’ll play Bass, a part that was originally earmarked for Twilight’s Billy Burke (who has now assumed the lead role of Miles).
The thriller is described as a high-octane action drama following a group of characters struggling to survive and reunite with loved ones in a world where all forms of energy have mysteriously ceased to exist.
The ensemble also includes former Breaking Bad evildoer Giancarlo Esposito as a hard-as-steel military man with a genteel southern manner who may not always be what he seems.
