Can we please talk about Renee Young

She is absolutely trash as a commentator. Like holy shit. Does anyone else agree? Michael Cole and Corey Graves can both be annoying, but they at least do their job well. Who would be a good replacement?

As much as I hoped for Renee... yeah... she isn't very good. You could argue that it's because of Vince yelling in her ear, but that's literally every WWE commentator in history, so it's not much of an excuse. They've gone through so many commentators, but only two have lasted... Wait, I have a revolutionary idea, a two man commentary booth! Nah, WWE never go back, that's impossible. Really, Renee will stay in her spot because WWE is the definition of stubborn

While I do think most of them indeed suck, I think the main problem is that the commentators are holded back by the production team. They can't say anything they want anymore, they repeat what they are told to say.

Truth be told, she wasn't nearly as bad when doing the Talking Smack gig (even for the little time it lasted) so being scripted and/or being constantly yelled at what to say I think does play a major part in her overall bad performance. Granted, Talking Smack and weekly play by play are two totally different things but, again, you could see the difference in her delivery etc...

Nevertheless, I have to agree she's on a bad roll...

Come on the girl is doing her best and is probably under huge pressure from Vince McMahon and the production team. Yeah she might hate it when she stumble over her own tongue or botch on commentary. But this is a really hard job, being a commentator is already hard enough, but to have Vince or Kevin Dunn yelling in your ears telling you what you have to say and if you fuck up they are probably yelling at you even more.

This is why Michael Cole has been there for over 20 years, he has a military background as a reporter. He's the only who can handle Vince yelling at him what to say on commentary.

She is beyond awful in this role. All main roster commentators are under the same conditions. All of them are shit. She just takes the biscuit
