The Motor City Machine Guns have been buried completely for years now, TNA's been pushing them like a couple of jabrones who can't win when it matters for quite some time. Is it possible, after all we've had to endure, that they can revamp the Guns a bit and give them a renewed push? I know they're currently number 1 contenders for the TNA Tag Team Titles, but at this point, it doesn't matter because they ALWAYS lose the title matches.

What do you guys think? Is this THE push we've been waiting for all this time? Will the TNA creative team finally give The Motor City Machine Guns the ball to run with or will they job to The Band and fade back to obscurity?

Honestly, I see a split in the next few years with Sabin hopefully moving up to world title status.

Can anybody say 21st century Rockers?

I love the guns and everything, but I could very well see them ending up like The Rockers and feuding after never being able to win the tag team gold. I just hope that the breakup doesn't go like the Colon or Cryme Tyme split. If built correctly I think it could be a feud of the year candidate when/if it does in fact happen.

They don't need to have a 6 month feud with each other. Just a blowoff the next PPV and then move on separately.

What I think would be good though, is if the breakup gets built like the AMW break up, it gets teased a few times, and in a way it already was once during the feud with Suicide. Then, when it finally does happen you have more of a build up then just Boom! They broke up randomly.

It's the other way around. Shelly shows the most promise to be a major player in the world title scene. He could be a great heel champion.

Break up the Guns? No way, the guns are the best team in TNA. They need to keep them around for a while. Breaking them up will cause one to fail. Like AMW, Chris Harris is gone now, James Storm isn't really doing anything that important.

It's just Basic Wrestling 101: They are TOO small. We're not talking Michaels/Hart/Savage small, we're talking Mysterio-without-the-mask-so-no-one-really-cares small.

That's Blue. Just one blow off match? That's probably all they'd get when/if they break up, but there's money in them doing something long term. There's money in most teams breaking up and feuding if done right.

Of course give them the month to feud but I think it's a little ridiculous for them to have a half-year rivalry.

I don't think that necessarily a 6 months rivalry would be the best way to go, but a 2-3 month feud could do alot in turning them from tag team high flyers to legit singles stars.

Don't construe this as me hating the Guns, guvna, I think they are a fun team to watch and are talented in the ring, but for there to be money in a team breaking up, there has to be money in the team. The Guns breakup wont be any more important than Cryme Tyme, Legacy or the Colons. People really don't care about tag teams because tag teams take a back seat to singles stars in major way these days. The only teams people MIGHT care about breaking up are 3D and the Outsiders since they have a long history in the sport and are recognizable.

You do have a point. I know it wont be big money in them feuding, but there are people who will pay to see them have their big feud. Although they always seem to be pushed to the back burner alot, they still have their following. Seeing how their tag team has been booked, I'm not expecting alot from them when/if they break up. Although both of them should should be no lower than mid card, I see that's where they'll end up. But depending on how the feud goes, it can elevate both guys.
