Jeremy Borash has been put in control of TNA house shows and is trying to push them to become a bigger deal. He wants to make them a complete experience with both wrestling and meeting the wrestlers to offer something different at their house shows. After the shows they will be bringing some wrestlers and personalities out for autographs, but they won?t announce who they are until the very end of the show.

The company is trying to book venues that hold closer to 1,000 rather than 5,000 and up, a trick that Paul Heyman used in the ECW days to give it the packed house atmosphere.

TNA is actually making money by doing house show tours because they keep the overhead low. They only have a two person ring crew and Jeremy Borash handles the music and lighting and hosts the show. All of the match finishes and angles are sent from the Nashville offices via email and they are straight forward short action-filled matches where the company tries to use clean finishes almost all the time. As previously noted, it looks like TNA actually became profitable in 2007 which had to put a smiles on the faces of the Carters.

Booker T is said to be really enjoying himself in TNA and it shows. At the house show in Lincoln,NE Booker was at ringside signing autographs until the building was empty and then spent another 20 minutes outside the arena talking to fans in the parking lot. The show drew 1,346.

They drew 1,100 fans to a house show in Spencer, IA, which is a city in the middle of nowhere with a population of 20,000.
Things are looking good!

That's so professional. That's a company who wants to go head to head with WWE, only two person ring crew.

So the only way to be professional is to waste money? -.- If they can do everything they need to with minimal staff, why would they bring in more people?

If the two man crew is working then why the hell can't they do it? Is there a requirement of how much crew members you need to 'compete with WWE'? If they doing fine with 2 crew members then let them. At least they running on the right tracks.

Now if only they solved that little problem they have with booking, got their ratings higher then 1.0/1.1 and get more then 20-30,000 buys for their PPVs they would be in real good shape.

Good that they were profitable, still a long way to go if they want to truly compete with the WWE.

I don't think their active goal should be to compete with WWE. They're making money, so they should just focus on getting more buyers a little bit at a time. Like "Okay, Lockdown got 5000 people to show up, let's see if Sacrifice can get 6000", and such. Competing with WWE will come as a side effect of just being successful in that regard.

^ Sacrifice is being held at the Impact Zone so they won't be able to get 6,000 people in there, 900-1,000 tops but no more then that.

^Yes I agree, which is why dumb ass Kurt Angle should shut his mouth about all this stupid shit he says about the WWE and TNA being in a rating war or whatever. TNA should pretend the WWE doesn't exist and worry about themselves.

It only takes 2 people to set up a ring. Its not that much work, i used to do it with another guy. WIth 2 people it only takes about 1-130 hours.

I like Jeremy Borash concept. He appears to have his head on straight. Although im not sure i believe TNA is profittable. I'd just like to see concrete #s. They have a lot of big money contracts. If it is true Angle/Cage/Sting are making 500,000

I would like to see TNA go to the bigger markets though.

I would like to see TNA take Impact on the road, I belive that's the next step they should take to put their product out there for the world to see instead of just keeping it in Orlando...
