This is a highly anticipated WEC match up. I know WEC isn't the largest generator of interest in MMA, but I watch it specifically for Urijah Faber. This Sunday night Faber and Brown will meet for the second time in WEC as they collide for the Featherweight Championship. Their last meeting was back in November when Faber lost the belt to Brown due to a TKO (strikes) in the very first round. Many thought Brown got lucky, but we'll all see if lightning can strike twice for Brown as he meets Faber one more time.

Faber bounced back from his loss in November by defeating MMA legend Jens Pulver for a second time in his career.

I hope Faber knocks him clean out. Faber is the true champ.

I think its Faber who's going to pull the victory.

Faber I think is the only one atm who should be the champ for that unique weight class.

Faber is obviously the biggest name in and out of the cage in the featherweight division, and I am not even going to get started on the skills he has. There should be no reason that Faber can't regain his belt Sunday.

Lets just say I will not be watching "Extreme Rules" this Sunday. I am really excited about WEC 41 of course because of the main event but also to see Jose Aldo & Donald Cerrone fight.

Yea I won't be watching Extreme Rules either because WWE is now Stream Nazis, so I watch free TV, the best thing on TV this Sunday will be WEC. It's a can't miss.

You know, even though my hero Urijah Faber lost, I still have respect for the guy. He powered through 4 rounds with the broken hand. He has heart and that's what you need to be a fighter. Faber would have had that fight, or just atleast better offense if he had his hand. It would have gone differently if he didn't break his hand. Brown had some great takedowns and great guillotine opportunities though. Great fight overall, atleast it didn't end as fast as the last. Faber will get another shot, just give him another crack at Jens again, beat his ass for a third time, he'll be back in contention.

He doesn't need to beat Jens to get another rematch, if Mike Brown is a real man (hard to tell from his crying in the post match interview) he'll see that Urijah looked like he had 3 hands on his right hand, shit was really bad, mad props for staying in there and throwing all those elbows. I think he hurt his left hand too but not sure, looked like he couldn't close that hand and was slapping a lot. That reverse guillotine he had in the last round would have been the end of Brown if Urijah was able to cinch it in. Too bad, was really wanting Urijah to kick his ass and he was catching Brown with some great shots in the first round before he BROKE his hand.

Man Fabers heart really showed last night and even with that hand he lasted 5 rounds. Brown looked pretty awesome also, used his gameplan perfectly.
Now faber will eventually get a rematch but he needs at least a couple of fights, he's lost 2 out of his last 3. Maybe a fight with Josh Grispi would be good and if he wins that one give him Manny Gamburyan (bigger name) if he wins both those and Brown is still champ then have round 3.

I am surprised that Mike Brown couldn't end the fight against a guy with a broken hand. LOL

Faber definitely had better cardio than Brown for sure. He stuck it out and didn't look nearly as tired as Brown did. Brown is just a hack that happened to get lucky twice in a row. He is probably going to cop an attitude and be all cocky now. Punkass!
