Who Wins?

Judging him based on size doesn't do the man justice. Six-time Jr Tag Team Champion in New Japan. Won the Best of the Super Jrs twice. He is a three time IWGP Jr Heavyweight Champion, holding the title for over 1000 days, started Bullet Club which is probably the most popular faction world-wide today, even competed in New Japan's heavyweight division as the Jr Champ, including having some big wins in their G1 tournament. That was even before WWE where he became the longest reigning NXT Champ, the first Universal Champ, but unfortunately his injury during that match hurt his push. But the guy is great if you give him a chance, trust me.

But for this, I love it because it breaks the trend of. "Bork faces big sweaty man, they get suplexed 100 timea, Bork wins." And some of Brock's best matches during his overall painful time with the Universal title has been against people who have been smaller and work well as an Underdog. AJ, Daniel, if WWE allows some back and forth and builds this as a David vs Gollath clash in the match, it'll tell a great story. Finn Balor clawing his way back, using heart, his speed/skill (maybe some Demon magic) to measure up to the beast and take him to his limit. But as much as I'd love to see Balor win, I doubt it'll happen since I am sure WWE wants to have someone beat him at Wrestlemania, the biggest stage possible. Then again we thought that last year and "LOL, SWERVE! 100 FINISHERS BROCK WINS!"

Brock kills him.. it's a throwaway title match because Strowman is still recovering from surgery.. Finn gets destroyed and goes back to mediocrity. He's awful.

This... has me a little torn tbh. As a staunch Balor disliker, I can't hate on this.

I absolutely love them finally using the Rumble title matches as the little mulligans they should be used for. We need more Brock Lesnar vs Hardcore Holly type matches.

It's a random pairing... at a time where on the babyface side WWE has two heel champions and... what, three babyfaces right now anywhere close to the main event on the roster? (Styles, Rollins, Strowman if he still counts?). There's plenty of men on the roster who're in the place where Asuka and Becky Lynch were, toiling in obscurity under a painfully stale title scene, but not buried to the point where they can't main event. It's time they start using some of them.

On paper it seems like a can't lose situation for Balor. A competitive loss to Brock probably means more than a win over 90% of the roster... but the Demon is the trump card here. Kayfabe-wise it makes no sense to be regular Balor going into the PPV (but that's no big deal). Demon Balor beating Brock Lesnar is actually an amazing character moment. A Brock win over Demon Balor severely hurts both characters, so that's the direction I'm assuming they're going in.

His size only makes that a bigger deal, but I could buy into someone like Styles or Bryan being able to believably use his size to make it seems like he's fighting from underneath, using his speed and ring IQ to out-wrestle the unstoppable force. Not sure if Balor's the man for the job.

Brock faces small guys just as much as big guys. This is nothing new and is not groundbreaking.

We have seen this match before very recently . David vs Goliath. Don't know how this is going to be any better then those two matches. Maybe Finn wins, cuz what's the point in Brock just beating up small guys. What's the point?

It sucks to have a squash match for the WWE title.

If only somehow Braun Strowman can get back into the match and make it a Triple Threat Match it would not be such a land slide match.

But due to Braun Strowman recovering I don't even think he will participate in WrestleMania this.

Even though Balor said he wanted this match with Lesnar in Interviews and I was even interested.

But it's basically Blatant that Lesnar is so full of himself and Vince is so needy of him, that Lesnar can basically choose to win or lose to whoever he wants....

and I believe Balor isn't in the "Lose to" category.

Braun vs Brock has proven to be an underwhelming match up. No Mercy was shit.

Balor vs Brock is a better quality match. Brock and Braun are shit together

I dont see why people just assume that this is about to be a squash and Vince is just feeding Balor to Lesnar. Did you guys not watch Daniel Bryan vs Lesnar? They probably had the best match of 2018. It was great story telling. Not to mention WWE has been throwing major swerves our way and Balor getting the upset is certainly not out of the realm of possibility now
