Great news for the family, friends, and fight fans of UFC heavyweight Brock Lesnar: his recovery from his second battle with the intestinal disease, diverticulitis, is going well, according to second-hand sources.

Lesnar, who underwent surgery to remove 12 inches of his colon in May in a battle against the disease, has reportedly isolated himself from the modern world and found refuge to allow himself to heal at his farm in Canada. Like many of his opponents in the cage, Lesnar is finding a way to take the disease down and pound it out until he becomes victorious.

UFC President Dana White stated, “I guess his recovery has been incredible.â€￾

Of course, because Lesnar is isolated without the use of phones or computers, the news comes second-hand. But regardless, this is all great news for the sport, the organization, and all of those close to Brock.

"He's basically up there farming and completely disconnected himself from the world," White said. He explained that the often cranky heavyweight is in very good spirits. Lesnar's return to the cage could happen in 2012, White added.

"I'll tell you one thing: I'm not retiring," Lesnar said after the disease resurfaced and forced him to withdraw from a headlining fight against Junior Dos Santos at UFC 131. "This isn't the end of my fight career. This is something that I believe in my strong faith, that there's a solution to every problem. I just have to find the right solution to fix this problem."

Lesnar (5-2 MMA, 4-2 UFC) lost his belt to current champ Cain Velasquez last October at UFC 121. He recently coached "The Ultimate Fighter 13" on Spike TV but was forced out of a UFC 131 bout with Junior Dos Santos due to his illness. Still, despite many of the Brock-haters and his health issues, Lesnar has emerged as the UFC's top pay-per-view draw.

Great news right here, can't wait too see him back in the octagon again. That seems like such a painfull recovery especially to have to go through it two times in one lifetime, thats insane.

I'm not the biggest Brock fan, but still nice to see him recover. He's good for business and it will be interesting to see who his return fight will be against. Don't see him getting a title shot right away, but could see him taking on the loser of Dos Santos/Cain, or possibly taking on a up and comer in the heavyweight division. Just hope they don't throw him against Mir again, but would mark to see him take on Roy Nelson.

Yeah i'm really hoping they don't do another Mir/Lesnar fight but fighting Roy Nelson would be awesome.

And i think i heard that he is fighting the loser of Santos/Cain and the winner gets a title shot, but obviously things can change.
