Jun 6, 2012 - The injury bug has hit the UFC once again.

UFC on FOX 4 headliner Brian Stann has been pulled out of his Aug. 4 fight against Hector Lombard due to an injured shoulder, MMAFighting.com has confirmed with sources close to the fight. According to those same sources, Stann will not require surgery for the injured shoulder, but will be on the sidelines for approximately 6-to-8 weeks.

No word just yet on who will replace Stann against the former Bellator middleweight champion later this summer.

Are you fucking serious. What the hell is going on with these injuries?!

Reminds me of that one year where you kept seeing people going down with injuries and every card pretty much had to be changed up and altered cause a main card fighter was getting injured or a champion was always getting injured.

Thing is.. this is high time for all these other fighters to step up and really get their face out there cause now the limelight is gonna be on all these guys. But yeah... let Bisping fight.

Yeah i'm pretty sure an injury or suspension has changed every single card so far in 2012. It's been insane.

For some reason I'd love to see Shogun take the fight if he'd be willing to drop to 185, but i don't think that'll happen. Bisping seems like the obvious choice.

This is no injury bug, it's more like a plague.

Injury bug is because most of these morons are not cycling right.

Probz scared of the piss tests now, you think injuries happening a month or a week before PPVs someone goes down is a coincidence.

Shogun vs. Brandon Vera is now the mainevent on UFC on Fox 4. No word yet on what the plan is for Hector Lombard, still say they should book Lombard vs Bisping. Then you have three solid fights Shogun vs Vera as the mainevent, Lombard vs. Bisping can co mainevent and then you also have Machida vs. Bader.

Great comeback fight for Shogun to get a W though.

I was confused by the whole thing at first, but after awhile i stared to think it might end up being a pretty decent fight.
