This is an obvious one. I really cannot see the Miz keeping the belt against Bret Hart in Canada. Despite how stupid that statement truly is, Bret Hart is going to become US Champion. It's a big night, Raw is commercial free, they're in Bret's home country of Canada, as out of place as it may seem, it's going to happen.
If Bret wins, Daniel Bryan will not win NXT. That is the only way I think Miz will keep it is to save it to drop to Bryan.
This whole US title match could just be a set up to their tag title match at Over the Limit, but seriously why would you bring back Bret Hart into WWE to have a TITLE match and not win the title. Hart Dynasty will look badass with 5 belts though. Should be pretty historic if this does go down.

Bret Hart will probably win, I think he will donate it to Tyson Kidd or something. Btw, how obvious was it that Miz was gonna choose Bret, I knew it as soon as he said he gets to choose. The only other thing I could see happening was Miz choosing Brittish Buldog and saying he wins by default, that would get him so much heat but it is probably too non PG. I think that Miz will drop the title an then get the WWE championship at Fatal Four Way, in time for Bryan to challenge for it after winning NXT.

I could see Miz possibly winning the a major title like that one day, but not anytime soon. I see him as one of those guys who is the highest ranked mid carder that always tries to elevate himself, but always finds himself back in mid card much like Booker T and Chris Benoit a couple years back.
I just think it would add to the feud with Bryan but I would say only a transitional champ, having it go to Jericho straight away. Btw, I said I think but I should have I kinda hope, I don't really like the idea that Bryan will win NXT but I think it flows well, Bryan challenges for the title but loses, then Jericho turns on Miz (turning face) because he is jealous of Miz's rookie winning NXT and challenges for the title, Miz gets involved, Jericho wins and Miz and Bryan's feud continues. I don't think it is realistic but it seems to work out well.
What's Bret going to do with it? I say vacate the title and then there could be a tournament on RAW. I know they just did one on Smackdown, but if they built it up
If he wins it, vacate it please. I do not want to see Bret's tired body go week in and week out defending it. Or just have Miz retain, and continue "screwing" Bret why don't ya WWE writers.

WWE will pull a TNA once Bret wins and rename it the Canadian Championship only to rename it again 3 weeks later to the Hart Foundation World title.
Or they could just make it like a Global title. Instead of just United States it can be global! That way they do not discriminate and they will also look very intelligent by doing so as well.
Bret Hart should definitely not win. I doubt they will even have a real match. Considering Bret is like disabled and his only move is the steel chair swing.
