Samoa Joe and Shinsuke Nakamura go at it in another epically brutal contest
for the NXT Championship, this time at a WWE NXT Live Event in Osaka, Japan.

Shinsuke Nakamura regains NXT Championship from Samoa Joe in Osaka, Japan
OSAKA, JAPAN — Back and forth they go.

Shinsuke Nakamura defeated Samoa Joe for the NXT Championship in Osaka, Japan, earlier today. NXT’s official Instagrambroke the story, revealing an image of The King of Strong Style holding the championship, to now become only the second two-time NXT Champion in history (the other, of course, being Samoa Joe).

Samoa Joe defeated Nakamura for the championship several weeks ago at NXT TakeOver: Toronto in a brutal and controversial contest, but Nakamura was able to shift momentum back in his favor and take back the title on his home soil.

For more information and to witness the full main event match, tune in to NXT this Wednesday, only on WWE Network.

Following his defeat of Samoa Joe to regain the NXT Championship in Osaka, Japan, Shinsuke Nakamura takes a moment to soak in both the road he has traveled and the roots that laid the foundation for his championship successes.

Hot potato has finally caught up with NXT...

:smh

He never should have lost it. Joe had this for what two weeks?

Pretty sure the only reason Joe won was so Nakamura could have this huge title win in his home country.

Plus it made Takeover less predictable cause I don't think anyone expected Joe to win it back.

Seems kinda silly to give Joe a transitional reign to drop the belt back to the original champion in his hometown. I mean I normally wouldn't care, but NXT has built up a reputation for not doing short and meaningless reigns like these.

Not to mention they do it right as people are complaining about Raw doing this at this very moment as well.

At the very least make sure you're going to air the title switch if you're going to do it.

At the very least I hope this means Joe is ready to leave NXT.

They air airing this aren't they? I think it airs next week. So it's been spoiled but the match will be on NXT

Now bring Joe to the main roster so I can get my Reigns or Cena match.
It's definitely time. I mean maybe one more match with Nakamura on NXT TV (I wouldn't wait for TakeOver) and have him debut on SmackDown Live destroying Cena on his return episode back from filming his Gladiator thing.
