Breaking News: Kennedy out 6 months

PWInsider.com reports that Ken Kennedy is scheduled for shoulder surgery this Friday. Kennedy injured his shoulder during a house show match with Shelton Benjamin earlier this month, and has been working lightly ever since.

Kennedy was diagnosed with a torn labrum and damage to his rotator cuff by Dr. James Andrews in Birmingham, Alabama. After two weeks of rehab and no progress, it was determined he would require surgery.

He is expected to miss four to six months after the procedure, which will be performed by Dr. Andrews

Goodbye Kennedy, your career is over. This is ther third major setback of his wwe career, and he's only been here since 2005. IDK, he just seems not relevant anymore, but whatever, we'll see. It still sucks his career is spiraling down though.

I gotta be honest, I think in 6months time the majority of fans will bearly give a damn about him. I never really 'bought into' the random face turn... Then they dropped his fued with Burchill.... Then drafted him to SD where he's been quiet... Now out for 6months. Bad luck, but I think he's finished...


Shame when you consider the Taker fued so early in his career, MITB, Vinces son and all that stuff.... 'E were clearly into him.

Yea WWE doesn't stick with guys who get injured all of the time. It will suck if he is done and WWE spent so much time, money, and effort into him, but I think he has one more shot, if he blows it when he comes back he is done for sure.

Yeah, maybe, but I think it's more of a case of keeping the fans interested... WWE have played a hell of a lot of their 'cards' with Kennedy (see above) for a career that's still relatively in it's early stages.

Well I am not surprised he hurt his shoulder as much as he has been jobbing. Anyone would fuck up their shoulders if they are on their back as much as Kennedy was.
