Breaking News: FWA Star Injured at House Show

We have recently gotten word that a former member of the FWA roster has been injured at a house show in Atlanta, Georgia this past weekend. Following the FWA Anniversary show at the end of August, the HWA Originals Saint Sulley and Bullet Broc left the FWA to defend their newly won HWA Tag Team Championships. They did so by reviving their Indy company Hardcore Wrestling Alliance for a reunion tour of house shows.

However, just halfway through the tour schedule, it was been reported that one of the two have suffered a huge injury that may put them out of action for some time. It's a blow to the tag team, who had finally gotten on a hot run as they cleaned up competitors during the reunion tour. Now the rest of the tour is up in the air.

It is currently unknown which of the two the reports are talking about. Both Saint Sulley and Bullet Broc competed in a Hell in a Cell match to defend their tag team titles against Johnny Hot and Alex Kidd. The Barbed Wire Bastards retained the titles, but it was a brutal match. While both Hot and Kidd left the warehouse show on stretchers, Bullet Broc and Saint Sulley were limping out of the arena as well. It's rumored that Bullet Broc may have a significant knee tear, but some are speculating that it could be Saint Sulley who was injured after taking a huge fall off the top of the cell at one point in the match.

Nevertheless, the injury will have major ramifications on the two former FWA stars, their tag team, and their futures. Stay tuned as this story continues to develop.

Hope Bullet Broc eventually comes back as the lobster!

Interesting development. Surely you gotta expect Sulley to eventually show up in FWA again. Feel he's got unfinished business. Would like to read more about his foray into HWA.

Breaking Update:

While we still don't have confirmation on which of Bullet Broc or Saint Sulley suffered the "serious" injury at the HWA house show, we have just gotten a major update.

According to sources, Saint Sulley is expected to appear at the next Fallout. While he is not booked in a match, many are speculating that he is going to be making an official return to the FWA with his appearance.

Meanwhile, the next HWA House show is still going to take place the first week of December. Neither Sulley or Broc are on the card. Broc was last spotted in a Taco Bell just outside of Pittsburgh. He was spotted with crutches and a brace around his knee which should all but confirm Broc as the injured star.

We should have a much more clear idea of what is going on when Sulley appears on Fallout next week.

HUGE UPDATE:

While it was reported earlier in the week that Saint Sulley would be appearing on Fallout, it is now confirmed after the former FWA star left a pretty cryptic tweet on his Twitter this afternoon.

There's a lot to interpret from this, but out of all the rumors the past few days, there seems to now be a clear front runner. Not only is it Bullet Broc that suffered the injury, but Saint Sulley intends on returning full time to action.

And on top of that return, it would appear that the former champ intends on challenging Alyster Black for the X Title. Black is just a few months away from breaking Saint Sulley's record for longest reign with the belt. Although Sulley still holds every other record for the belt, it would appear that the "King of the X Division" as he once called himself is planning on challenging Black for the title at Fallout.

It will be highly anticipated if he does.

With that said, the rumors continue to swirl, so keep a look out for any further updates.

More rumors:

The Saint Sulley rumor mill is still going at full speed. There have been many rumors this week on what Saint Sulley's plans are and what he's doing.

As of late, following a cryptic tweet from Saint Sulley, it's all but confirmed at this point that Sulley intends on appearing on Fallout to challenge Alyster Black for the X Championship.

However, the latest rumor now is that Sulley is also going to be competing in the Meltdown battle royal for the vacated FWA World Championship.

It's clear that Sulley intends on returning to the FWA with a bang. Become a three time FWA World Champion and then recapturing the X title to go with it would solidify that bang for sure.

Tune into Meltdown, and at this point we feel pretty confident that you'll see Saint Sulley in that battle royal match.

Update:

We and other reporting outlets are scrambling today after the rumors of Saint Sulley competing in the Meltdown main event turned out false. There was a source that reported Sulley was in fact going to compete in that battle royal for the FWA World Championship, but in the end the former champion didn't make an appearance.

What we do know is that Saint Sulley himself has confirmed he will be appearing on Fallout.

We also know Sulley has teased talking about the X Championship. It's possible that Saint Sulley is only focused on challenging for that title, and has no interest in the world title.

At this point however, nothing is confirmed.

Meanwhile, HWA released the match card for their next tour in December. Bullet Broc is not on the card in any capacity, but neither is Saint Sulley.
