WWE will reportedly be pushing back the launch of the WWE Network several months to the fall, according to a report on PWInsider.com.

WWE had been planning to launch the WWE Network the day of WrestleMania 28, April 1st. However, the tremendous amount of work involved in creating a new television network from scratch as well as the issue of securing clearances from the big television carriers was too much to get done by 4/1.

WWE recently decided pushing the Network back several months would be their best chance for the Network to be a success.

Despite the delay, projects that were being produced will still go on as planned.

If they're going to do it they may aswell take their time. I can see it being a bust however there isn't the interest in wrestling anymore.

Wouldn't they be censored to high heaven though? Like on Smackdown re runs they cut away from all weapon shots. If they put it on late enough it would probably be ok. I hope they do put it on though with the PPVs.

I think it's to do with the watershed times so if it was on after 9 it should be ok. It's mainly the re runs of smackdown which are edited.

Yeah they're horrible to watch. Crossing my fingers for a TV-14 transfer ;P

USA doesn't have like 9pm watersheds like the UK, I think.
I believe that's why they have like the TV-PG things at the beginning. Might be wrong though.

Also, WWE can EASILY show any rated content as long as they advise the people who run the network like ABC, USA etc.
ECW can easily be shown completely un-edited as long as they give the appropriate warnings.

Think about it.
The amount of people who will actually buy/watch the network is going to be WAY LESS than the amount of kids who watch RAW, SmackDown etc.

I can't understand how WWE network would work.
Like all day wrestling matches?

Even the most hardcore wrestling fan wouldn't watch this.

Shows like classics on demand, old ECW shows, re-runs of RAW & SmackDown, the live RAW, NXT, Superstars, FCW.
