Braun Strowman out with concussion

Braun Strowman is currently out of action after suffering a concussion, apparently on last Friday's WWE SmackDown.

The news was first reported by PWInsider and confirmed by our Dave Meltzer. It's unknown what his timetable is for a return.

Strowman teamed with Ricochet against the Viking Raiders Friday, picking up a win.

It's unknown where the actual injury was suffered, but there was some unusual spots during the match including this one where Strowman launched Ricochet and didn't come close to hitting anyone. He then stumbled out of the ring, but was able to finish the match.

Over the weekend, Strowman was pulled from house show tag team matches which were changed to Ricochet vs. Ivar instead.

After being released in June 2021, Strowman returned to WWE last September. The former WWE Universal, Intercontinental and Raw Tag Team Champion has yet to win a title since his return. He has primarily been a tag team wrestler since his return.

Former WWE Universal Champion Braun Strowman is out of action with an unspecified injury, PWInsider.com has confirmed.

Strowman is currently on the disabled list and is not expected back anytime in the near future. We are told he has been taken off the board when it comes to creative ideas.

One WWE source believed Strowman may need to undergo a surgery but we have not confirmed the nature of the issue.
