Brandon Vera Calls Out Thiago Silva

[No More Sorrow]

Brandon Vera was very outspoken after finding out Thiago Silva had tested positive for banned substances following their fight at UFC 125. The bout, which Silva had originally won, was overturned to a no-contest and Vera, who had been released, was granted another chance in the UFC.

Now, with Silva's suspension over, "The Truth" is making it known that he wants to meet him back inside the Octagon.

"I just heard my dear friend Thiago Silva is back.....I want that (expletive) fight," Vera posted Monday morning on his Twitter account.

Vera earned a victory over Eliot Marshall at UFC 137 despite having his arm broke during the fight. It remains to be seen if the UFC has any plans to pair Vera back up with Silva when he returns.

It would be nice... just to see what breaks on Vera.

Brandon Vera can lay there for three rounds whilst getting pounded on again. He was terrible in that fight and he would never have won even if Thiago wasn't on steroids and he was. The guy should have been cut a few fights ago as he is a waste of a contract spot.

I still remember the look he had on his face when he saw how his nose looked on the big screen.
