For all the Brady Quinn haters out there, last night he saw his first NFL action of his career last night agains the Lions. I just want to get this off my chest right now. FUCK THE HATERS :2up:

Ok, I think Im done :)

Quinn looked steller last night in recording 13 of 20 passes for 155 yds and 2 TD's, all in the final quarter. Now some of you may say "Well, he wasnt playing against thier first string." Well, thats true, but they certianly didnt have their first string in either. And by the sounds of many of you, you all say that Quinn sucks anyway, so you all thought that he was gunna suck anyway. Well you were all wrong. Give the guy credit, he is a tough guy and always stands in there and gives it his all. I will promise you this, barring injury, this guy will be something special.

I like Quinn, I really do think he's a good player. What I don't like is how he thinks he should be paid more than a 22th draft pick because he fell. There's a reason he fell and unfortunately, he don't get it.

^I understand your reasoning, but when you look at his contract, he didnt get paid all that much. People just overreact when they see someone hold-out and then automatically think hes just a docuhe b/c he wants more money.

^^^ He did want more money than he deserves didn't he. Luckily for him, Jamarcus looks him look less like a douche.

^ROFL, thats b/c Jamarcus was the #1 pick. Those guys will do anything to get what they want, and they know they can keep asking, b/c they arent just going to release a #1 draft pick. That would make the Raiders look really dumb.

^^^The system is seriously screwed right now. They need to make a fixed amount that the picks will receive. So none of the bullshit will happen.

^I totally agree there as well. People are too damn greedy and the way the pay and stuff works dhould be a predetermined amount. But I also think that would cause a lot of controversy as well.

I don't think so. Like in the NBA, the pay of rookies don't go above five million a year for their first contract, and thats how it should be in the NFL since the players and their players don't have the decency to restrict themselves.

Back to Quinn. I don't think the O-line of the browns is good enough though, and I see whoever becoming starter having a hard time.

^Ya, I was just saying that if the first pick automatically gets like 50 million, and the second 45, third 40, and so on, I just think it would stir a pot and everyone would be critical of who went where, not that that doesnt happen now....lol.
