I’m glad Brad will be in the role. Makes me more excited for the show.

I loved the first Child’s Play movie. But eventually they went the Halloween route with me.

The difference here is this is carrying on the continuity from the most recent films. Because the last two films felt more serialised and referred back to the history of the franchise it makes perfect sense to carry the story on in this format. With the original character and star on board I'm excited for this.
