The show started 45 min. late which is not a surprise if you've been to a PWG show before...
The Young Bucks def. Los Luchas-Not much of a match to talk about, wasn't a very good opener. Reminded me of a WSX match.
Joey Ryan def. Chris Hero-Seemed to grow stale at times, and the finish was a little shaky, but overall a good match between these two.
Roderick Strong def. Austin Aries-Very good match as I expected. I love the way these two work together, Roderick Strong has some crazy ass back breakers :Eyecrazy:
Matt Sydal def. Jimmy Rave-Pretty good match but nobody seemed to care as it was basically a "WWE vs TNA" match up. Nobody's expecting these guys to win the tournament, in fact a few people (including myself) were disappointed to see Rave make the trip.
Alex Shelley def. Tyler Black-Great match. I was so happy to see Shelley back in PWG. After the match he cut a promo and said PWG was his favorite place to wrestle. He also said goodbye which is odd because he advanced in the tournament...Oh Well
Claudio Castagnoli def. Doug Williams-Pretty fun match if your a fan of the European style. I didn't count but I can say there were about 40-50 uppercuts in this one.
PAC def. Jack Evans-Great match, probably the best match of the night. Great high flying action throughout and nothing was botched (Surprise!) Wouldn't mind if it was a little longer.
Steenerico def. Dragon Kid and Susumu Yokosuka-Another Great match. I can definitely see Generico vs Dragon in the near future. Dragon Kid is awesome, hes this generations Ultimo Dragon IMO.
I thought this was a great show to open the weekend, the only negatives about the show was the opener and Shelley's departure ss: I don't know why but I thought it was the start of something big. TNA actually received a lot of heat, there were a few "Fuck TNA" chants here and there.
