I missed a lot of NXT the last few months between Takeovers, but these cats really impressed me with their presentation and ringwork at the last event. What say ye, WWE Forums? Yay or Nay?
They're alright for now, I guess. They really stepped out of jobberdom, so to speak, a relatively short time ago so I haven't seen as much from them as other NXT talents but they're fine. Haven't blown me away yet but I think they have potential.
They're far from perfect in ring. And their characters need fleshing out. But they're flukey title win plays into that. They are getting the Edge and Christian style slow burn heel turn and character development. Minus the "dude, where's my car" humor of E&C.
As for the guys themselves: Murphy is a stalwart of the Aussie scene and falls into the freaky strong for his size department, and Blake is a Droy Funk Jr student so he's at least a solid ring worker. And his current "character" beats his cowboy one either way.
