After the Tough Enough finale part of RAW a few weeks back, WWE’s John Laurinaitis ripped into Andy Leavine for about five minutes about how Leavine shit on everything Vince McMahon and Steve Austin have done for the business, and about how he was a piece of crap who will never amount to anything in the business. Laurinaitis was mad because they felt Andy should have stayed down longer after the slap from Vince and the Stunner from Austin.

Don't know what protocol is here so I'm double posting.

After hearing this I'm surprised he was on Raw the following week I'm guessing it was only because they'd already promoted his presence. I think he was down the appropriate amount of time for the bitch slap but he didn't sell the stunner very much. But I assumed it was because TE was ending and Raw was starting. With Laurinaitis pissed at him I expect to see him in 3-5 years if he's lucky.

He sold the bitchslap for a long time but for the stunner he hit the mat and rolled out of the ring holding his chin. Maybe he should have sold the stunner more but honestly I don't think it is a huge issue. He will be sent to FCW anyway before he is brought up to the main roster so they can teach him to sell there.

He's already been in FCW he gave up the contract to be on Tough Enough. Obviously the WWE didn't think he was ready before Tough Enough but by winning Tough Enough you'd think that'd get him closer to the main roster, meaning you think he'd know how to sell already.

He sold the slap like he legit had no idea that it was coming, which is a great job. As for the Stunner, totally agree with both of you with the fact he could've done better with it. Although he was holding his chin, his face didn't really show much "pain".

I don't really understand why it deserved being torn a new asshole, especially since he's just gonna go to FCW anyway, but Laurinaitis knows what he's doing.

And btw, Leavine and Christina actually gave up with FCW contracts to be on Tough Enough.

He will get on the main roster soon enough but he will be sent down to FCW for refining and to give creative time to come up with a gimmick and storyline for him.

If he laid outside the ring for thirty seconds before staggering up the ramp it would have been better. What he did reminded me of what someone like Kane could do if hit with the Stunner, that would make sense not some new guy with no build.

I really don't think it's that big of a deal.

The guy obviously still needs work, probably was nervous as hell for being on that type of spotlight for the first time ever LIVE, and didn't oversell it. I mean come on, it was a slap.

As for the stunner, that one was worse, but once again you'd have to think nerves had something to do with it.

Sounds more like Laurinitis is just trying to score brownie points from his boss and save his job, since he hasn't done a good job after taking over for J.R.

Seems like the go to thing in politics is to go blow up a insignificant incident to make yourself look serious about "the business".

Now that JR isn't announcing anymore WWE should use him in that role again as a scout for them.

Would be better off if J.R was back in Talent Relations, Ace only uses that position to creep out models and stain his couch. During his tenure the developmental system has signed over 400-500 wrestlers and during that time they have released 300 of them.

J.Rs tenure had more stars that had more time to develop themselves and WWE had more stars as a result

True JR went for females that could actually wrestle rather than just models and looked for athletes that could wrestle rather than just look good. I have no idea how Ace keeps his job but with Triple H now taking a more active role in recruiting he may be pushed out of a job.

Agree with the two of you J.R. is perfect for that role, he knows the business inside out, knows a good talent when he sees one, and is able to work well with them. Ace is just a bully, who always puts his own interests ahead of that of the companies.
