For me I forget what it was called exactly but it was on BET on sunday and of course everything on there is usually about church and all of that and they were selling some water on there that you could drink and it would make some of your blessings come true. Had people talking about they needed money for their bills and it showed up in their mail box. By far the funniest but most fucked up scam I've ever seen and a classic example of people trying to use religion to make money.

For me it has to be those phone in Quiz shows that were at there peak around 2006. 1.50 per call and you didn't always get through, questions impossible to answer and jackpots boosted up to encourage more people to ring in. I remember reading a regular of one show got banned because she cracked the quiz's and won often.

Freecreditreport.com is easily the biggest scam, I signed up to check my credit report. I found out I had 7 days to cancel before I was charged on a monthly basis. I immediately called to cancel the account. After saying several times and very firmly: "Cancel my account, please", the operator on the phone said the account was canceled and I would not be charged. A few months go by, I was charged 4 times! I went through all these hoops to get my FULL refund of $59.80. I know it doesn't seem much but I CANCELED my account! I finally got my FULL refund.
