Well, the draft is this week. We all know the unofficial start of the wrestling year is WM, but it might as well be the draft. Thats when rosters are finalised, and new hope arises for WWE.
Now, if we think about the passt year (07 draft til now) its had some good moments, but also some disapointments... Ths highlight for me were...
Batista/Taker
Cena/Orton
MVP/Matt hardy
Kennedy/Regal
Orton/HHH
Edge/Taker
Y2J's return
HBK's return
Punk winning MITB
Kennedy rising to main event status

So thats not bad, but theres been disapointments as well. This isnt the place to bash them though, or even discuss them. I just wanted to point out the highlights of the past year...
Now though, with the new draft coming, WWE has alot to work with. They still have the good crop of main eventers, but they also have a boatload of young talent, and guys on the verge of the main event, and the draft offers new feuds, most not seen in the past couple of years. Heres some I think we will see by next summer...

Batista vs John Cena
Batista vs Randy Orton
CM Punk vs Orton
Kennedy vs MVP
Kennedy vs Edge
Triple H vs Edge
Y2J vs HHH

Thats a good list. Obviously there will be other feuds as well for the mid and low card, but those are the main event feuds I think we'll see, and if you ask me, that is a hell of a list of good feuds, that can last a tear and more...

So, once the draft is over, what do you think of the upcoming wrestling year?

Do you predict it will be better than this past year?
Which feud of the ones i listed are you most looking forward to seeing?

well with returns we have the following..

Rey Mysterio - meant to come back in ONS but didn't... (I think)
Gregory Helms - where is he, been out for like a year ?

I would like to see one (emphasis on the ONE) more Undertaker vs. Triple H in a face Vs. face contest. Face Vs. Heel would just kill any idea of a good match up.

No a marquee match, but damn...

GIMME HBK V MORRISON!!!!


...While HBK can still go; before he is to busted up and it becomes the equivalent of him carrying Flair @ WM.
