Could be. Would make sense for the potential story of him getting a world title shot while "not under contract". But if it is legit, SRS seems bothered that people aren't buying the possibility of him actually leaving.

Which honestly, anything is possible. But, yeah. I think pretty much any sensible person is just gonna assume the founder of the company and reigning champ who has his school also tied to the company is going to inevitably sign a new deal.
