The rumor of Biff and Swann signing with the E has been floating around for a while now.

I just hope Biff, Gargano and Ciampa have all signed. I'm kinda indifferent about Swann.

The rumour of WWE being interested had been floating around (especially since Swann had a try out a while back) the signing is seemingly a new thing.

OIC. Isn't that the same thing nowadays, though? Like, dirtsheets publish an article on a wrestler having a tryout at the PC/WWE being interested in them, and shortly after, there'll be rumors about the signing.

Also, I remember Biff having a tryout at the PC in January this year. Pretty sure Chuck Taylor, Ciampa and Gargano had tryouts, as well, but IIRC, they were in September/October of 2014.

Swann tried out last year, IIRC. He was on the short that WWE released about the try out camp, but he hadn't been offered anything (nobody featured did)

Explain Ricochet then. The only reason they had him to a try out was apparently to deny him/break him down.

Backstage News On Top Indie Stars Starting With WWE Soon

I noted last week that 4-6 new talents were expected to start at the WWE Performance Center this month or next month. Two of those talents were waiting to pass physicals and have been talked about a lot online lately - Biff Busick and Rich Swann. Word now is that they are indeed signed to the company and expected to start in October. The whole "waiting for physicals" story may have just been a ruse put out.

Regarding the other indie talents expected to start with WWE soon, I was told that top stars Johnny Gargano, Drew Gulak and Chuck Taylor are about to sign deals.

I wasn't told this but the other indie talent coming in could be Tommaso Ciampa, who teamed with Gargano at the recent NXT TV tapings.

I'm not really sure how to take this? Are they really gonna give Swann and Busick their dues or are they gonna be just another bunch in the very large unfeatured lower card NXT talents. Anyways, I'm happy they made it, if everything works out.

So, Swann is pretty much confirmed to have signed a contract with WWE.

Hopefully the same thing goes for Biff.

He's still somewhat young, he'll be signed within the next two years unless he turns them down. I kinda want to see that happen, denying them for at least a couple of months.

If whoever mentioned in this thread does get signed they'll have good runs in NXT, no doubt. I just don't see the likes of Biff, Swann, or Taylor fairing too well on the main roster. Gulak and Gargano maybe, but who knows?

Gargano is too small for the main roster I am afraid. Taylor would probably have the most success as a goofy undercard comedy act in vein of Santino.

Gargano could do well in a tag team, that's probably what they'll give him in NXT. Probably not with Ciampa, but that's not bad. They're going to have to start investing in the tag team sooner or later.

Bump.

The former Christopher Girard or Biff Busick is now using the name Oney Lorcan in NXT.
