Agreed on both fronts here, Destiny 2 made a lot of improvements at least though.

SR2 is a fun, pulpy acade style game with good style. But Destiny has a the edge here for me.

Destiny the original when it first game out for the first 18 months was a truly epic game - and really fun online with friends. Anyone voting Streets of Rage is just protest voting at this point.

I like Destiny but I think it lost it's magic after Year 1. I get it was far from perfect, and the story kind of sucked, but there was something about 2014-Early 2015 that was special to me. Exotics felt like they meant something, and everything was fresh & new. The Taken King in late 2015 was fantastic as well.

A part of me wants to vote for Destiny, but it would be me being nostalgic over the launch. The game itself was rough, and 30 FPS was not fun for a shooter, but it had something about it. The loot and whatnot kept me hooked.

I'm going to go for Streets of Rage 3 as I think it's a better game overall, Destiny squandered it's massive potential.
