What was the best time for the WWE after the attitude era?? In my opinion I think it would probably be 2006 because so much happened that year. There was the return Dx, Mcmahon went tried to screw hbk, edge and cena rivalry started(MITB was cashed in for the first time) and the new breed was unleashed ECW returned. What year do u guys think was the best???

The attitude era was overrated to begin with. I woudln't even call it the best time. I enjoyed it, but at times, it was way too chaotic, and it had an extreme lack of main event depth. But no denying it was the most succesful time, and I still enjoyed it. But my favorite era was the 2002-2004ish era. Despite losses such as Rock and Austin during this, we had several good things. Kurt Angle and Eddie Guerrero in their prime, Evolution at full force, a new, healthy HBK, Brock Lesnar, Goddberg, 3 of the best Wrestlemania (18,19,20) and overall, just a cool time. It also still had a lot of attitude era traits.
I can't choose a specific year, cause it was basically just the whole 2002-2003 thing blended together. 2006 is a close second though, like you said, it was an exciting time as well. DX, ECW (the whole excitement at that time was great), Edge vs Cena, and WM22 was great. But my favorite period still has to go to 2002/2003.

I respect your choice famou$, you do have many great points on 2002-2004ish and I guess it can be called post-attitude era. I like how u pointed out the bad things about it like rock and SCSA leaving but your right about eddie and angle at their prime with a healthy hbk, evolution lesner and so on. But I have to disagree with you about the attitude era. It may be a little overated but to me it was the prime of wwf/wwe but at least you told the truth about enjoying it. Much respect man

First off, just call me "MikeRaw" lol, as that's what my name was before it was changed, and I'll be allowed to change it back to that is a week and a half or so. I respect your opinion too though. You can't really argue with the Attitude Era,. So much good stuff going on. I just think that towards the end, it wore a bit thing. It was fresh and new from 96-99, but around 2000, I really started to not get interested, and then of course, in 2001 we had the whole inVasion thing. I liked it, just like you did. I guess it just comes down to preference, and like I said, I just found the stuff following the attitude era to be exciting and new, much the way the attitude era was when it first came along.

Yeah that's true I liked the attitude era before 2000 including inVasion which I personally think had the most hype around wrestling in general. But I as I read your comments you actually made me think twice about attitude era being the best time In wrestling because you have back up your opinions with the 2002-2004ish with strong wrestling facts lol.
