I mean, considering that the Ghostbusters were using essentially homemade nuclear reactors without any oversight and without any actual safety procedures, the guy was not wrong that the Ghostbusters shouldn't have been allowed to operate. Additionally, if one wants to argue that Proton packs are not nuclear reactors, I've got some bad news for you. Proton Acceleration before the 1990s required a nuclear reaction in order to work. As the second movie points out, this was something that went to fuckin trial over because they were sued for damages from nearly destroying the city.

The only thing that Peck was wrong about was the nerve gas accusation.

The whole shutting down the powergrid thing wasn’t great either. And accusing them of making people hallucinate is more then just a little wrong. Also he was a massive prick. Congratulations though you are the only person I’ve ever met that can defend Peck over the Ghostbusters.

I went with Peck. Voldermort seems like one of those threats that wouldn't effect me. Example The war in Iraq. Yeah it caused a few issues for me but it didn't impact me personally day to day. Peck however is that boss or coworker we all wanted to just knock the hell out. He's the villian of life.

I have no attachment to Harry Potter, but grew up on Ghostbusters and Peck is a great slimeball. To me he's a great villain because he represents the sneaky politician who's out for his own back and just picks loopholes just because he can. I have no problem considering him a villain. I live in the UK. Believe me Boris Johnson is f***ing villain! :p

Voldemort is essentially a wizard version of Hitler, he killed people and tried to murder a baby.

With that said, William Atherton always nailed despicable characters (Die Hard).
