Same here, of *all* Godfather characters people picked the guy who's considered the noblest and most charitable of the Corleone family? The guy that the second movie portrays as a hero of the old mob; someone who is beloved and instills loyalty? HE'S A VILLAIN!?

If you're going to pick a fuckin villain, actually pick someone that is considered by the story's own narrative *as* a villain: Ya know, like MICHAEL CORLEONE, who by every extension is the villain of the Godfather series, because his downfall is the rise into the Corleone mob and his complete departure from his father's works.

It’s weird I only view mobsters as villains when the movie isn’t about them. But if the movie is all about the family they aren’t the villains imo. Like I’m not putting Henry Hill or Tony Montana on a villains list either
