Fwiw Red Dragon was awesome and its an evil role for sure . But t1000 is cinematic legend and a perfect unstoppable villain. Murders your parents and tries to kill you with a longhaul truck while the only thing you can do is put the pedal to the metal and listen to the soothing sounds of You Could Be Mine type. Also he turns into liquid metal and kills dogs. Horrifying.

Robert Patrick is flawless as T-1000. It really feels like you're watching a robot, he nails it so perfectly. T2 is such an exciting and tense movie with him always in pursuit. Just wonderfully acted.

I think its Patrick's mencing performance which makes T-1000 into a villain. I've only seen Manhunter and not Red Dragon. Assuming its the lead villain in that, he was pretty chilling. T-1000 gets it for taking the batton from Arnie in the first film.

I just realized Lecter is only the main villain in the series and Ridley Scott's Hannibal.

Yeah he's more supporting role in Manhunter and SOTL (but makes a big impact for sure). I guess turning him into the lead of a franchise proved a bit overkill.
