No doubt it was UFC 87. Even though majority of the forum will probably say 91, I think 87 had alot more riding on it. We had Lesnar in his second UFC fight against Herring. A match that many believed was a make or break match for Lesnar at the time. The card would also showcase the likes of GSP, Florian, Emerson, Huerta, Finch and many other. I think there is no doub that UFC 87 was the MMA PPV of the year.

I would say ufc 81 which was headlined by Noguiera fighting Tim Sylvia which was a great fight, nog was getting beat in the first rounds but like always he pulled out the victory. The card also had Brock lesnars anticipated debut (which had a bullshit ending:) ) as well as Nate Marquardt vs Jeremy Horn.
The prelims were pretty good as well.

Lesnar took on Herring at UFC 87. :)

Erm.... well I have to go with DREAM 5. Now before you go "what the f*** is that?" take a look on some torrent sites. it's a new start-up Japenese Promotion that features some really awesome fighters. DREAM 5 had the Lightweight Grand Prix Semi Finals and Finals. It really is a great event to see. And show that MMA in Japan is still gonig strong after the loss of PRIDE.

If it's UFC. It's gotta be UFC 85. Mainly 'cos I'm a sucker for UFC in the UK. But there were some good fights on the card and some real shockers. Matt Hughes getting owned by Thaigo Alves, MICHAEL BISPING in action and just some really good fights.

I am going with UFC 86: Jackson vs. Griffin. The card was stacked with names like Cote, Koscheck, Stevenson, Lytle, Tyson Griffin, Gabe Gonzaga, and one of my personal favorite Corey Hill, even though he is now laid up for over a year. That PPV was phenomenal. It was truly stacked and the main event was flat out awesome.

i withhold my answer till the 27th, cause I have a feeling that card is too stacked to not include.

Haha was in a hurry and got my H's mixed up.

But yea I didn't mean to count out 92. Cuase there's no doubt that card is going to amaze but I just wanted to get some posting going down in the MMA section. =]

I highly doubt that J-Dawg. Other than the main event, the rest of the show was lack luster. Florian vs. Stevenson was pretty good, not the best, and the rest of the show was full of short ass matches with low card fighters. Couture-Lesnar was pulling the hell out of that show.

Yeah, I'm going to say 92 will be awesome. 91's under card just didn't have to much good stuff to me, and the only other really good contender for me was 87. 86 had a badass main event, I cant take that away, but this is the best PPV, not main event.
