I might overrate Get Out just from that opening scene of "Redbone" playing bc that shit gets me hyped every time. Still I really enjoy Get Out through and through, got a great story and some good comedy in it as well despite not being a comedy horror. Wrong Turn was what I'd consider a good stereotypical 2000s horror movie where a lot of them are shitty so it gets some credit for that

Get Out should of went with the alt ending it would of made it all time classic that said the movie was a great horror film even if I thought the race thing was gonna be a bad idea in the end it was a great movie. Great cast too.

Nah I like that it actually had a happy ending bc it had enough racial stuff in it that got it's point across that if the alt ending would have happened I would have just been too fuckin' upset even if it would have been some more good social commentary at the end. Plus you still get that fear when you see the flashing lights at the end that the cops were gonna side with the white bitch until you realize it's his GOAT friend

I liked both endings but for different reasons. I'm happy they went with the one they did because I like how it fools the audience with the cop car.

Wrong Turn is perfectly solid and I always enjoy a bit of Eliza. But I think Get Out is a modern classic.
