IF I had my way these two would be in the Final such a tough decision to make. I just watched Home Alone 2 last night on FX still gets to laugh so hard.

I actually think Home Alone 2 has slowly overtaken the first for me, at least if I'm watching purely for the traps. Watching it recently again, I realised how much I enjoy it. I'd say the first has the better story, but shit Marv gets electrocuted and gets bricks thrown at him. Kevin goes wild in this one.

To be fair if your undecided its not a bad way to split the difference. Its just a cameo which has aged badly.

Don't think I've ever seen The Santa Clause so won't vote here. Home Alone 2 pretty much delivers as a sequel. It lacks the heart of the first film for me.

That's silly, a better deterrent for not voting for Home Alone 2 would be that this is the movie where the protagonist stopped being an innocent prankster to a full fledged sociopath....look at how he rammed up the electricity when Marv was getting shocked.

I think you can put that down to it being a sequel and them having to up the stakess. Those scenes were always a live action cartoon anyway.

First movie was about stopping a home invasion, second was a flat out murder plot lol.

Marv and Harry were victims.

Yeah doesn't bother me, its not as good anyway. The electic shock scene is lame because there's no slapstick involved which is what made the stunts so good in the first film.
