Tough going for Gremlins, Nightmare is just overall the better movie.

Nightmare had a weird message....don't try nothing new and stay in your lane.

Gremlins had a better message of not going into a chimney in a Santa suit.....very practical.

Gremlins for me, easily.

I like Nightmare but I’m not as crazy about it like others are.

When I was younger Nightmare was more a staple of the season. It was always good film to watch around midnight on Christmas Eve. But now I get more out of Gremlins as a film. It has everything a family horror Xmas movie should.
