Die Hard though, as much as I like The Grinch.

I can't wait for 10 pages in this thread. I'll start the controversy:

I'd vote grinch even without the Christmas qualifier bc its better :garrett

The Grinch is just such a timeless classic, from horror legend Boris Karloff's deep recognizable voice, his intonation, his diction. The way he tells the story is just so classic.

As good as How The Grinch Stole Christmas is, it doesn’t have Hans Gruber falling from Nakatomi Plaza.

Die Hard.

This is really tough. Probably the toughest one in the opening round, because that version of the whole Grinch story is the best adaptation of anything Dr. Seuss related of all time.

...buuuut I watch Die Hard and Christmas Vacation each year in the holiday time as a double feature, so I have to go with the Willis.

Both classics but in different ways. To be honest I figured most people would vote Die Hard to I throw The Grinch my vote. Don't mind which wins.
