Bellator 63 prelims finalized with Kheyfets-Holland, Cramer-Nader, Koreshkov-Howard
The fight card is complete for Friday's Bellator 63 event with the addition of seven preliminary-card fights, many of which feature local talent.
Headlining the Spike.com-streamed prelims is the promotional debut of undefeated local product Marianna Kheyfets (5-0 MMA, 0-0 BFC), who takes on Munah Holland (3-1 MMA, 0-0 BFC) at 125 pounds.
Bellator 63 takes place at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Conn.
Bellator 63's main card, which is comprised solely of opening-round matchups for the season-six welterweight tournament, airs on MTV2.
Kheyfets, a Connecticut native, has spent the majority of her pro career fighting for the XFC promotion in Florida. She most recently stopped Heather Clark via first-round TKO at XFC 16 in February. Holland is a former Golden Gloves boxing champion who's become a mainstay in the Northeast's Ring of Combat organization. Holland was also victorious this past month, and she has won two straight since her lone professional setback, which came via submission to Justine Kish.
In other action, middleweights Dan Cramer (7-3 MMA, 4-1 BFC) and Jeff Nader (5-4 MMA, 1-0 BFC) are scheduled for a rematch. They first met in August at Bellator 48, where Cramer was dominant over two rounds before Nader secured a late-fight TKO win in the third round.
Other fights include welterweights Andrey Koreshkov (8-0 MMA, 0-0 BFC) vs. Taiwan Howard (9-8 MMA, 0-0 BFC), featherweights Saul Almeida (12-1 MMA, 1-0 BFC) vs. Matt Bessette (7-3 MMA, 0-0 BFC), heavyweights Parker Porter (5-3 MMA, 0-0 BFC) vs. Randy Smith (14-10 MMA, 0-1 BFC), 165-pounders Ryan Quinn (6-3-1 MMA, 3-0 BFC) vs. Marc Stevens (14-6 MMA, 0-0 BFC), and featherweights Pete Rogers (0-0 MMA, 0-0 BFC) vs. Brandon Fleming (0-0 MMA, 0-0 BFC).
