Bellator 113 lineup set, includes Season 10 lightweight tourney openers
The 11-bout lineup for next month’s Bellator 113 lineup is now set, and it includes the four opening-round matchups of the promotion’s Season 10 lightweight tournament.
Three of those fights will be featured on the evening’s Spike TV-broadcast main card, including David Rickels (15-2 MMA, 9-2 BMMA) vs. Patricky Pitbull (11-5 MMA, 4-4 BMMA), Marcin Held (16-3 MMA, 5-2 BMMA) vs. Rodrigo Cavalheiro (14-2 MMA, 0-0 BMMA) and Terry Etim (16-5 MMA, 1-0 BMMA) vs. Derek Anderson (10-0 MMA, 1-0 BMMA).
A fourth bout of Brandon Girtz (10-3 MMA, 3-1 BMMA) vs. Derek Campos (13-3 MMA, 2-1 BMMA) serves as the featured bout of a seven-fight preliminary card that streams on Spike.com.
Featuring a light-heavyweight world title unification fight between champ Attila Vegh and interim title holder Emanuel Newton, Bellator 113 takes place March 21 at Kansas Star Arena in Mulvane, Kansas.
New preliminary bouts announced for Bellator 113 include lightweights Marcio Navarro (9-9) vs. Bobby Cooper (8-4), lightweights Donnie Bell (8-2) vs. Tim Welch (10-4), bantamweights Tory Bogguess (10-7) vs. L.C. Davis (20-6), middleweights Brian Rogers (10-6) vs. Gary Tapusoa (8-2), heavyweights Maurice Jackson (2-1) vs. Daniel Gallemore (2-2) and featherweights Israel Giron (17-3) vs. Cody Carrillo (4-7) .
