Prove me wrong if I am, but I've noticed that some of the wrestlers change when they bring children into the world. Some even changed when they got married.

Let's start with Triple H and Stephanie. From what I've observed in 2006-2013, both toned down a lot. They had their kids around this time and before they came, both of them were a lot more intense.

Why the change in character?

I agree. I think they work harder, because they know they need to provide for their children. e.g. Miz has been on fire for the past year, I guess because his daughter was coming/is in the world now

They're going to change whether they have kids or not, your body and mind changes every single day, every month and every year. It has nothing to do with having kids, their kids aren't even going to be kids forever.

someones outlook on life changes when they have kids. so it could have somthing to do with having kids as it has such a huge impact on someones life.

Wrestlers tend to have children later in life (mid to late 30's) rather then in their 20's. Usually when you get to your 30's, you start considering the future in a more wide angle perspective. Marriage, kids, owning a home, deciding if you want to take a different career path, things like that. This is likely why characters change. Their priorities change and their outlook on life and what is important changes. Everyone goes through changes though, not just wrestlers.

When you look at Stephanie and HHH, their core character is pretty much the same. HHH is still has a massive ego and sees himself as a god, and Steph is still riding that nepotism surfboard.

I disagree. Triple h use to be all about himself winning and being the most dominant star. Now he’s a dad, business man, COO, and putting stars over left and right. He’s not anywhere as bad as he use to be. Again, not saying in some ways he’s not asshole or has an ego, as anyone in his spot could easily have, but he’s def a lot more mature and thinking of the future.

As for Steph, she’s hot. So who cares?

Yeah I get that. Though I do think Triple H's lust for power still remains present and the character still see himself as a warrior god. But now instead of being the champ, now he decides who is the champ eg. he wants Orton as champ not Bryan. Now he sees himself as the creator. HHH's character has changed a lot but I do feel that the core themes of insecurity power hungriness still remains. He just goes about doing it differently.

As for Steph, she's gone from billion dollar princess to MILF

I see. Well, I noticed that the Authority stable formed around the time when Triple H and Stephanie's youngest child turned seven, their mid child turned five and their youngest turned three. Before then, both were fan favorites. Why would the transition back to heels have occurred around this time?

I suppose Vince wanted a heel authority stable. Face CEO Triple H was really bad IMO and I don't think i'm alone on thinking that. I actually don't see how Triple H could continue as a face in his authoritative role. Stephanie and HHH started to appear on TV together after the heel turn so maybe their children had an influence on that.
