I don't know how many threads based around these two teams have already been made but I am starting another one (feel free to close/merge if needed Bonez)

But, last night on iMPACT the promo before the Ultimate X match between the two in the "best of 5" series the two are having really interested me. Roode said somethinga long the lines of them "revolutionizing" tag team wrestling. I have to say I partially agree with them on this. The whole Beer Money/MCMG feud has really been one of the high points of TNA recently imo, and TNA for quite some time had a pretty great tag division, but for parts of the last year or so I felt like there was less emphasis.

I think this feud could really spark an interest in tag wrestling again. I feel these two teams have great chemistry together, I have yet to see them have a bad match.

What do you guys think? Do you think they could really revolutionize tag wrestling?

(take into consideration all I watch is WWE and TNA, I have no idea what goes on elsewhere)

This is the best shit I've seen in a long fucking time. Tag team wrestling and in general. The matches have been to quote Taz, "sick". He isn't bullshitting when he says you're not going to find anything better than that wrestling wise on TV. I haven't seen anything like that and especially in fucking tag team wrestling in I don't know how long. These two teams really are bringing tag team wrestling back and greatly increasing the quality of TNA itself. Just fucking amazing. Its also about time that MCMG has shined. They're doing much more than "shining", they're bringing back tag team wrestling finally and making TNA watchable.

I haven't been enthused in tag team wrestling in a long time. These guys keep me watching.

This feud could have been so much better had they panned it out. It's 5 weeks of Beer Money vs MCMG in gimmick matches. Why would they want to rush through this feud? Sure they've been having great matches through out the best of 5 series, but still. One on one, standard tag team, something. But not gimmick after gimmick after gimmick. If the Guns keep the belt after this series is over, what next? This is one of their hottest feuds/matches in TNA right now. Once this is over, it's on to another team. And it shouldn't be that way.

This is one of the best tag feueds in a long long time. TNA has always had a fairly strong tag division. The only thing I wasn't crazy about, and this is just me, was I didn't feel they needed stipulations/gimmicks in each match up until the payoff bout. If a promotion announces a "Best of 5 series", you can bet your bottom dollar it's going the full 5 matches. So aim your payoff bout for a PPV and make it the mother of all feud settlers, the steel cage. I don't mind TNA putting on gimmick bouts on TV, but again, don't give away what you can charge for.

To be honest, I think if fans want to see one of the best tag team wrestling feuds this decade, go to Ring of Honor and pick out anything from Mark and Jay Briscoe vs. Kevin Steen and El Generico. Especially ROH's first ever Ladder War from the Man Up PPV event.

I agree they should of had this last a lot longer but I think after the last match they should bring in another tag team to fight with the other two. Keep the belts on MCMG and then bring in Generation Me or Ink Inc saying they want a shot and Beer Money needs to step aside. With these three teams feuding that will help build up the tag division and the other tag team. Eventually one team can keep feuding with the new team and then bring in another to feud with the champs.

TNA has always had a strong tag division (ok well except for when they pulled a WWE and split all the tag teams up) but their problem has always been that they would either only focus on two teams over and over or they'd try to throw them all in at once, they have never found a good balance where they could build teams up.

Personally I think this feud could be that next AMW/XXX feud that really was the highlight of TNA at the time. Now, I am finding myself watching TNA for the Guns and Beer Money's matches and not much else. I agree with Bonez on this feud being rushed through. I think this could have potentially been a big money feud for TNA if they would have spread it out and culminated it in either a big gimmicky match, like maybe Steel cage, Ultimate X or Last "team" standing or even a best 2/3 falls or Ironman match at BFG rather than just a bunch of TV gimmick matches (which have been awesome for the record)

It's better than anything WWE has done all year. Why watch losers like Cena and Orton when i can see quality wrestling like Beer Money and MCMG? TNA has some great wrestling.

Holy fuck the MCMG/Beer Money WAR on TNA iMPACT! "The Whole F'n Show" was INSANE~! Easily match of the year for TNA and an obvious contender for overall MOTY, incredible stuff!

Totally have to agree with you chess, that match was fucking awesome. One of the first times that the sometimes idiotic iMPACT zone fans' "this is awesome" chant was warrented. Such a back and forth display of tag team awesomeness. You really didn't know who was going to win, however I was pulling for the Guns, but Beer Money would have been a good choice to get the win as well. Easily a MOTY cadidate, like you said. Hell, I don't watch anything other than TNA and WWE, but I think they are two of the top teams in the world atm.
