From an out of character interview she did with Ryan Satin today. Bunch of notes at THIS LINK if you want to read them but it's mostly pregnancy and baby stuff

Ryan asks about her return and she says that she assumed she would return as a babyface because she thought there’s no way Vince would turn her heel, but she was told by WWE that she was returning as a heel.
Just a reminder that "[Meltzer] “Regarding the stories of Becky Lynch being a heel, this is definitely the case and she was the one who requested it.”

Either way i'm still totally fine with it and enjoying what she's been doing with it. Like I said before, she's still very much 'The Man' just she's turned it up a few extra notches to become more obnoxious with it.

I still would have liked for her to stay as a babyface and did a run of her fighting her way back to the top after being away from the ring for over a year. THEN once she made it back to the top she turns heel and becomes "Big Time Becks". That would have been more interesting. WWE wants to rush things instantly though.

I like what Becky is doing now but don't like that they skipped over doing an easy comeback story with Becky.

It was stupid to have her return as a heel in the first place. No one would want to boo a lovable face of the company in the female division that just gave birth and surrendered her Raw Woman's Championship. I would have liked this heel turn if they did it at a different time. I knew it was going to be a bad idea. Man, Vince is clueless.

I don't think it matters what WWE tries to portray her as. Not like they didn't attempt to turn her heel on Charlotte at SummerSlam before she exploded with the crowd. The fans are gonna treat her as The Man until they're ready for their new play thing.

With Sasha and Charlotte and Bayley as heels, idk why you needed Becky as a heel too. Bianca is literally the only credible babyface in the women's division right now. Maybe Rhea Ripley but she's playing with Nikki ASH so idk if she's credible. Point being, idk why you'd turn her heel when so many top women's stars are heels already. She should have come back as a face, fought her way back to the top and then become drunk with power and turn heel. But WWE gonna do WWE so whatever

No, they still call her "The Man." I'm guessing after October 22nd is when she becomes heel, and this "Big Time Becks," it sounds like they're teasing a clean win for Becky, a big one.

And besides, they (WWE) were in a lawsuit with Ric Flair over the whole "The Man" moniker. I think Charlotte will use it once people forget that moniker was under Becky.

Oh. I see. Well, Ric had a problem with calling Becky "The Man" and not his daughter, Charlotte. That was the dispute.
