Becky Lynch Reportedly Signs New WWE Contract

Becky Lynch has reportedly signed a new WWE contract.

Lynch has been away from WWE since April 2020 but word now via Ringside News is that the company “quietly” signed her to a new contract a few weeks back.

Lynch reportedly signed her last contract in 2019, which included a significant raise after her run to the top as The Man. It was reported then that Lynch’s new contract was worth $1 million per year.

Lynch has been out of action since right after retaining the RAW Women’s Title over current WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion Shayna Baszler at WrestleMania 36 in 2020, due to her first pregnancy. She and Seth Rollins welcomed their first child together in December, a baby girl.

There is still no word on when Lynch will be back in action, but WWE President & Chief Revenue Officer Nick Khan stated in early April that she will be “coming back at a certain point in time in the not too distant future.”

Probably another pay bump and her working stuff into the new contract to allow her to do outside adventures.

Yeah, the division is too damn stale right now. On Raw's side we have had mandy/Dana vs Nia/Shana in many forms since last fall. Then we also get Naomi/Lana vs Nia/Shayna for months now with no direction. We had Lacey vs Charlotte feud which went nowhere and ended due Lacey getting pregnant. Now on Raw awe get Asuka/Rhea/Charlotte triangle for a straight month. How can they continue to use those 3 as the top for the rest of the year without getting too stale. They have Alexa act for months and that is getting old. Nikki Cross not being used.

One Smackdown side they have Sasha who is taking a break from wrestling at the moment. Bayley vs Bianca can only get you so far. Riotts used as jobbers. Carmella is Bianca's next opponent after Bayley. Then after that feud for 3 months. Then what? Nia/Shayna vs Tamina/Natalya for a straight month and it is already feeling old.

Both the divisions needs Becky Lynch on their brands whether some of us like it or not. Only one is getting her on their brand. Both divisions are drowning at the moment too. Logical speaking.

I was listening to Beckys entrance music earlier just for the fun of it. Imagine when she does return and her music hits. It better be a surprise thing...

..but yeah, RAWs Women's Division especially needs Becky right now. I had hoped that when Ripley went to RAW things would improve, but the booking of her has been bland. I do think that some of the women on RAW could have interesting singles runs but creative isn't doing them any favors.

I was listening to Beckys entrance music earlier just for the fun of it. Imagine when she does return and her music hits. It better be a surprise thing...

That another problem I have with the division. Ripley is not being booked as the Nightmare. She is being booked the opposite of her NXT Self. A bad ass. Ripley in the last 3 weeks has been booked as a spoiled brat Raw Woman's Champion. At least when Paige got called up, she was still being booked as a bad ass for months while AJ Lee was gone due to her wedding and honeymoon.

I do have to give Becky points for trying to put over Shayna last year at WM 36 and asked Vince to have Shayna beat her. But Vince said no. Yes, I listen to the Bellas Podcast Interview Shows. All that before she realized that she was pregnant. 4 weeks later Asuka wins the Raw Woman's Championship at MITB thanks to Becky.
